The Rat Race commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. It aims to remove the labels of sexuality and gender, showing instead a three-dimensional portrait of the human being. Over the course of 26 interviews, subjects detailed stories of love, life and loss, childhood memories and hopes for the future.
